First Presbyterian Church in Phoenixville, PA proudly welcomes you to “The Gathering”, a new facet of the church’s ministry which began on June 9, 2012.  The coffeehouse style program will meet weekly in the church’s Fellowship Hall.  The church is located at the corners of Main and Morgan Streets in Phoenixville.

According to Pastor Dave McCabe, “The Gathering” offers a mix of live music from our very own Praise Team, and informal discussions centered around a Christian response to issues like home, family and work.  “With all the pressures of life today, a Christ-centered outlook can help people better manage everyday life.  In “The Gathering”, we hope to provide people with an opportunity to learn and discuss these issues in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.”

Coffee and light refreshments will be served.  Everyone is welcome and childcare will be provided.  Doors open at 4:45 pm.  Please visit our website at www.WhenWeGather.org

update…The Gathering is moving along with attendance often better than ten folks!  Discussions and conversations always revolve about pertinent life issues and are viewed from a Christian perspective.  Recently Lew Osterhoudt led a discussion about the stress in our lives and conversation centered around how we should deal with it.  Upcoming this month will be a discussion on the various facets of God’s will.  Come and join us at 5 PM Saturdays; doors to Fellowship Hall open at 4:45 PM.
