Sacred Movement
The Sacred Movement group provides visual accent to worship services in various movements for anthems, hymns, or contemporary musical songs. The Sacred Movement group uses movement to add deeper meaning to music and to encourage the worshiper to experience an added dimension to the service and to give glory to God. All who are interested can sign up. This group usually rehearses on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary.
Divine Drama
The Drama Team is an informally organized group of church members interested in incorporating dramatic expression into worship and other church events. These creative efforts include sacred movement and dance, creative drama for children and adults, plays and skits to enhance worship throughout the liturgical year (including a Christmas Pageant), and non-competitive talent show events. The group meets as needed to plan and organize drama-related events.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is an intergenerational summer program for church members, their families, and friends, with themes and modes of involvement varying from year to year. VBS provides an opportunity for children and families to enjoy community and fellowship while delving into selected Biblical themes via group discussions, role playing, games, dramatic activities, art projects, and musical expression. The VBS Planning Committee (open to all) begins meeting and planning in the spring for the summer program.
