Musical groups at FPC…
Adult Choir
The Adult Choir performs anthems ranging from standard liturgical music to spirituals to contemporary hymn arrangements and compositions.
Open to all high school youth and adults interested in singing praise to the glory of God. The choir offers their music during Sunday Service at 10:30 from September through early June.
Rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30 pm and Sunday mornings before worship from September to early June.
Praise Team
The Praise Team is our contemporary worship group.
Praise Team is open to all who wish to utilize their musical talents for the worship of God. The team currently consists of guitar, bass, keyboard, and vocals, but the team is not limited to these!
Rehearsals are Thursday evening at 6:30 pm and Sunday mornings before worship.
Handbell Choir
The Handbell Choir is open to anyone middle school age through adult interested in learning to ring handbells.
Rehearsals are 7:30 pm on Wednesdays from September to early June.
Rock the Boat
Rock the Boat provides accompaniment for newer hymns found in the “Glory of God” hymnal and other special music. The global hymns that this group plays fall outside the more traditional style and offer authentic accompaniment in a meaningful way.
Rehearsals are on an “as needed” basis.
Brass Ensemble
The Brass Ensemble is open to anyone who has played or plays a brass instrument from any season of their life.
Rehearsals are at 3:30 pm on Tuesday from September to early June.
