Adult Choir
The Adult Choir rehearses Thursday evenings from September to Early June from 7:00to 8:30 p.m in the choir room. The Adult Choir also has a brief rehearsal on Sunday morning before the worship service. The Adult Choir is open to all high school youth and adults interested in participating in singing praise to the glory of God. The choir offers their music in the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service from September through early June. Anthems presented range from standard liturgical music to spirituals to contemporary hymn arrangements and compositions. All who love to sing are welcome! Praise Team
The Praise Team is our contemporary worship group and is open to all who wish to utilize their musical talents for the worship of God. Currently, the team consists of Guitar, Bass, Keyboard, and Vocals, but the team is not limited to these! The Praise Team rehearses every Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary and is a part of most Sunday Services. Please contact Sarah Shulman, Praise Team Leader, for more information.
Handbell Choir
The Handbell Choir is open to anyone middle school age through adult interested in learning to ring handbells. The Handbell choir plays in the 10:30 a.m. worship service monthly. The Handbell Choir rehearsal is at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays from September through early June. Please contact Barb Giebler through the church office, 610-933-8816, for more information.
Rock the Boat
This is a newly formed group of musicians that provide accompaniment for the 10:30 a.m. worship service for some of the newer hymns found in the “Glory to God” hymnal and other special music. The global hymns that this group plays fall outside the more traditional style and offer authentic accompaniment in a meaningful way. This group meets on an “as needed” basis. Brass Ensemble
The Brass Ensemble is open to anyone who has played or plays a brass instrument from any season of their life! The Brass Ensemble plays in the 10:30 a.m. worship service occasionally. The Brass Ensemble rehearses at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesdays from September through early June. Sacred Movement
The Sacred Movement group provides visual accent to worship services in various movements for anthems, hymns, or contemporary musical songs. The Sacred Movement group uses movement to add deeper meaning to music and to encourage the worshiper to experience an added dimension to the service and to give glory to God. All who are interested can sign up. This group usually rehearses on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary.
Divine Drama
The Divine Drama group provides movements and drama enactments to bring stories from Scripture more alive in worship. The Divine Drama group gives glory to God through short scenes during occasional worship services. All who are interested can sign up. This group meets on an “as needed” basis.
